From 24.4. - On April 28, 2022, DVRPS organized rubble training in Czech Republic. The training was attended by: Vesna Žagar with Yaffa and Giny, Silvana Šneberger with Lola, Alenka Fritzel with Brina,Špela Bergant with Chepi, Mojca Kučič with Kira, Miha Kavčič with Nala and Nataša Bregar with Ajka and Cubo.

The instructor was Andrej Žunič.

Trainings lasted 4 days, morning and afternoon. In the meantime, we had a lunch break and a short break. In the trainings, we took advantage of various possibilities of hiding the figurant. Dogs had to overcome various obstacles and move on different materials (pallets, tires, metal plates….). Some, especially younger dogs, initially had quite a few problems moving around uncomfortable materials they were not used to. However, we managed to get the dogs to get to know them through training, and in the end, moving around them did not pose any major difficulties.

Some exercises consisted of search only, others were a combination of motivation and search.

The training was excellently organized and very useful for both young and old dogs. The dog handlers also gained a lot of new knowledge and experience. The training place was great. In the halls where we trained, the rain did not hinder us.

We had our last training on Wednesday afternoon and on Thursday at 9 o'clock in the morning we drove back to Ljubljana.
